Napa谷品酒列车

Good morning, this is Lei from Anchor English. It has been a long time. We just came back from a trip to Northern California to attend Gary’s best friend’s wedding and then we went to Napa Valley for little wine tasting.   

Today I want to share with your about one of the most unique experiences we had: The Napa Wine train. (napa谷品酒列车）。The train is over 100 years old. It will take you on the 36 miles journey up and down the main road of napa valley. You can enjoy the beautiful wineries along the way, while sipping and enjoying the local wines and appetizers. Then you will be seated in one of the vintage dining rooms to enjoy a 3 - course lunch or dinner. It was absolutely a unique way to explore Napa Valley, instead of only doing the cliche Opus one, Castello or Robert Mondavi.    

It is very important to explore by yourself and sometimes come out of your comfort zone in a new environment. Yes, there are popular and safer choices where all your friends go or you are told that’s the best. I believe you only know what is the best for you when you experience and compare it by yourself. I strongly encourage all of you to do one thing at a time that would push you outside your comfort zone a little bit. That is how you grow and how you can truly settle in to the new country.
